Questions that arrive before the trip even starts
Pick-up and drop-off places and times, what documents to bring, what is included in the price, what the rules are for extra drivers or border crossings. These are written in your terms already. Vaki gives customers the same answer every time, in their own language.
If a customer asks something your information does not cover, Vaki asks for an email address and tells you, so you can answer and add the missing line.
What Vaki does and does not do
- It answers from the information you give it, and when the answer is not there it asks the guest for an email address and tells you straight away.
- It reads your website to build the first version of its file. You check every line before it answers a guest.
- Your staff open one page, read the question and the whole conversation, and reply. The reply lands in the guest's own thread.
- Vaki does not take bookings or payments. It answers questions from your data and passes anyone who wants to book to you.
- Vaki is not professional advice. It repeats your terms and does not give insurance, legal or safety advice of its own.
Road and weather warnings
Vaki never says a road is passable or that conditions are safe. In Iceland, when the Met Office has a warning in force, it passes on the Met Office's own wording, word for word, in Icelandic or English, and points to Veðurstofan and Vegagerðin.
What it costs
Starter is $89 a month for up to 250 guest replies, with chat on your own website. Small is $159 (up to 500 replies), Medium is $289 (up to 2,000 replies, and email, WhatsApp and Telegram as well) and Large, with phone, is $769 (up to 6,000 replies). The first 14 days are free on every plan. You add a card to start, nothing is charged until day 15, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing. You can be invoiced in US dollars or euros (Starter is $89 or EUR 79 a month). There is no setup fee and no contract, and the prices are final, with no VAT added.

Does Vaki take reservations or deposits?
No. It does not take bookings or payments. It answers questions and passes anyone who wants to book to you.
Can it tell a customer if a road is open?
No. Vaki never judges whether a road is passable. It passes on official warnings word for word and points to the official sources.
What if the customer writes in another language?
Vaki answers in 13 languages, in the language the customer wrote in.
